6Solomon Family Solutions’ Project Chance is a mentoring program focused on providing music instruction for at risk youth and children unable to afford music lessons. Trained and vetted musicians are mentors and teachers of those accepted into the Project Chance program. The students of Project Chance will have the opportunity to learn a variety of skills and instruction of their choice. Studies include guitar, bass, drums, piano, violin, vocals, studio recording, and writing.

It is our mission at Solomon Family Solutions to provide innovative solutions to assist courts and families in crisis ways to promote healthy and conflict free families for the best interests of children. Project Chance is one of our many services aimed to assist those most in need.  The goal of Project Chance is to provide a positive and safe environment for at risk youth and children to learn music at no cost. Research has shown the countless benefits learning music provides children, and Solomon Family Solutions wants to give every child an opportunity to learn music when they need it most.  Music allows for a child to explore and discover their talents and gifts, and in turn, promotes creativity and self-esteem.

1With the training, management, and oversight of Yattie Westfield, Co-Executive Director of Solomon Family Solutions and Owner of The Art of Noise Academy, mentors have been trained to provide music lessons at no cost for at risk youth and children unable to afford music lessons.
